xx, 413pp, illustrated 4pp plus fold out map at rear, boards bright & clean faint foxing to foredge, alos prelims & back couple of pages. Includes a letter, dated April 26th, 1931 by J. Boxall who taught at the University at Pretoria.. He recommends this book & is scathing about a decision by the senate to turn down an 'educated native' for a place to study vetinary Science. There is also a tipped in news paper cutting by Boxall, protesting about the cut in salary for native teachers. The leter is 340 words plus & the article is 630 words plus.
